Library Outcomes Survey (Peer Assessors)
The Library Outcomes Survey (Peer Assessors) is designed to capture your peers’ perspectives of your library’s performance.
Best used for
To measure how your peers’ expectations and perceptions align with those of public users and internal library staff.
Respondents
People who are familiar with the library service and can give an informed opinion about how it is used and the outcomes it generated. Not current staff, but council members, local government staff or librarians from other branches.
Data collected
The survey asks for peer expectations and perceptions of the frequency of visitation, program attendance, facility usage, and outcomes generated for public users. The survey includes the same questions as the Library Use and Outcomes Survey to enable comparison of peer perceptions with internal expectations and public feedback.
Distribution frequency
We recommend you conduct this survey once annually, and can be in conjunction with the Self Assessor Survey and Library Use and Outcomes Survey.
